Question 4th Camera on network not connecting

    Hi,

I have had 2 M100 cameras for over a year that have been working great.

I just bought another 2 - the first one connected fine and is working great too.

However the 4th one will not connect to the network - I just get 'Unable to connect to monitor - Password Error' I know the password is correct.

I have tried turning off the other monitors and running setup on the forth (in case it is a bandwidth issue) but had the same problem.

I have reset the 4th monitor and ran setup numerous times. Still the same

I assume I have a faulty device? Unless something else could be stopping it connecting? Any ideas?

    Cheers

    Ian

    Dear Ian,

I would suggest you disconnect the 3 cameras and just connect that 4th one to see if it's working on its own. If it's working then it must be the network problem.

    Please keep us posted.

    Kind regards,

In the 4th sentence above I said: "I have tried turning off the other monitors and running setup on the forth (in case it is a bandwidth issue) but had the same problem." - is this any different to what you have suggested?

    Hi Ian,

Sorry I missed that bit. Yes, that's what I meant so I guess we have a faulty unit here. It is under warranty so I suggest you should ask your dealer for exchange.

    Kind regards,
