    MyRemote app does not recognize the TV

    Hello,
    A smartphone (with android 4.0.4) has the MyRemote app from philips installed and is connected to the wireless home network. The TV ( 55PFL6007T ) is also turned on and connected to the same wireless home network.
    However the MyRemote app is unable to detect the TV.
    I tried googling for a solution, but it told me i have to enable something like "jointspace" on the TV. However this was only a solution for the 2009 and 2010 TV's.
    So I am not sure what i can do to let the app work.

    Did you check that your TV has the latest firmware installed? Don't trust the TV itself for checking these, they lie... Try checking it from the philips website and, if so, update through USB.

    (no idea if that would help, but it won't do any harm).

    I have the same problem. I checked and i´m using the latest firmware. My Smart TV is 42pfl4007
