Setting up a wireless connection on model 46PFL7705D
I bought the 46PFL7705D two weeks ago thinking it was the one that was wireless ready for NetTV and connecting the pc. Well ... its not. I can only connect via ethernet cable now that is hooked up to my wireless G router. Is there anyway to be able to get this set up wireless? Any kind of adapter? Anything? I do know that there is this PC Media Connect software that is needed for wireless connection, but that is all I can find.

Hi,
for wireless connection you need the Philips PTA01 USB WLAN Stick. With that stick you also are able to download the Wi-Fi MediaConnect software.

Ok, why I am having such a hard time finding something like this one Amazon .... I do searches and nothing like that comes up. Am I missing something? I get other stuff that is clearly NOT what I am looking for. Other things that are NOT Phillips come up. But since I need that software I assume that I need a Philips branded product, correct?

Hi,
I am not sure if your TV supports WLAN - call your local Philips support and ask, if it is possible... the US models are different from the EU versions

The fact that these "/F7" models are not discussed much in the forum is that Net TV was first rolled out in Europe, so the focus is more on that region. But you are, of course, free to post your questions, experiences and remarks.....
Anyway, I will forward your issue to the US organisation.Forum Mod
