    TV only support mp4 after software update

    Hello Everyone.
    I've recently purchased a philips TV set , before i done my software update everything was good.
    After software update my TV only able to support mp4 format.
    Anyone encounter such issue, any solution for this
    Please advise thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    please state you exact TV model and the firmware before and after...

    Did you try to pull power cord for 2-3 minutes? Do you play the file via USB or DLNA?

    software version before update : not sure
    software version after update : software version Q554E-0.97.0.0
    i try to pull power cord for 2-3 minutes but still the same result
    i try to play via USB also the same only can play MP4 format only.
    Please help.

    Hi Elover,

    Please ensure the other files you are trying to play are within the specifications supported by your TV. You can check these in the user manual (page 63 onwards) here:

    Also make sure the software on your PC is also up to date.
    Have you tried another USB?
