lost all digital channels - 52PFL8605H/12
hello,
I have a 52PFL8605H/12, with a CI+ module from UPC (. A few days ago I lost all digital channels on the TV , with no specific reason. Everything was OK in the afternoon and when I started TV again in the evening I couldn't get digital channels.
So far these are the steps I tried:
1. updating channels --> CI+ module inside TV
2. reinstalling channels --> CI+ module removed and followed the procedure at UPC manual (http://www.upc.nl/klantenservice/tel...=52PFL8605H/12)
3. rechecking the cable connection quality by connecting the UPC media box (everything confirmed normal)
3. reinstalling TV (from the TV setup menu)
4. Upgrading to the latest software (to FW v0.140.48.0, from FW v0.140.46.0)
5. reinstalling channels
Nothing has worked so far and I receive the following error message: "Network frequency is not correct", when I try to enter the network frequency given by UPC (164.00).
My guess is there is something wrong with the DVB-C tuner but I can't predict whether this is a SW or HW related problem. Can you recommend me a solution?
thanks in advance!

Hi Koray.
I can see you have done a lot of troubleshooting yourself
Have you run a complete channel installation by going into settings > frequency > full scan?
If you are still experiencing getting asked for frequency or get an error code, please take a picture.
Best regards,
Benedickte

Hi Benedickte,
Thanks for the reply. I tried your advise, but only by selecting another country -Norway I chose. It is due to the fact that settings for the Netherlands don't contain a full scan.
What I did was, I picked up another country (Norway, just because it was one line below NL in the menu) and chose full scan with a frequency step size of 1 MHz. It actually worked! TV found many of digital channels. But then the problem was, all channels were in randomly ordered and a majority of them didn't actually worked at all.
May be this indicates the tuner is 'physically' OK but there is something still very wrong. When I try the normal procedure for the Netherlands I still get the message saying "incorrect network frequency" (see attached picture).
Do you think that changing settings for 'symbol rate mode' and giving different symbol rates (which I have no clue) can make a difference?
greetings,
Koray
