waiting for 46PFL5007H/12 firmware
hello,
I own a Philips 46PFL5007H/12
http://www.philips.it/c/televisori/5...drp2?t=support
and since 2012-12-18 the firmware has been stuck on version 000.096.000.000, even if both in release notes and FAQs it is strongly recommended do upgrade to temporary firmware version 99.0.0.0
my question is, will a definitive firmware v1.0 ever be released?
this TV still has many software bugs and problems I'd like to see resolved...
thanks

Hi Barnello.
Software version 96.0 is the latest sofware version on your TV. The 99.0 you are refering to is standby software and different to the other software version.
What exactly are you experiencing as you sayBest regards,TV still has many software bugs and problems

then why in the release notes of v96 it is strongly recommended to install v99?
is a new version in development?
- every time i power it on, i'm told that a channel update is available: if i choose to do it when the tv is powered off, at the next startup i'll receive the same update warning message as if nothing was updated.
if i update it immediately, it's only a matter of a few power cycles befor i'll receive the message again
- if i turn it off while viewing the HDMI1 channel, at the next power-on the TV will become irresponsive and i'll have to plug the power cord out
i'll write new ones as soon as i remember them
thanks

Hi,
there are two different firmware files, you need to install:
- main firmware: 96.0
- standby firmware: 99.0
In the release notes, it is stated that you should also install the standby firmware.
