Issue with NetTV and Dredd blu-ray
This weekend I tried Dredd blu-ray on my Philips BDP8000 and it had stutter issues (started somewhere in chapter 7).
I then tried it in my Playstation 3 (60GB phat model) and that worked fine.
I found some other sources that reported problems with this disc.
Is this disc a known issue with the BDP8000?
Second issue is that I have problems with NetTV. I can start apps (like Uitzending Gemist, RTL XL, the concert/music stuff), but starting an actual program will get me kicked out to the main menu again (sometimes directly, sometimes after a minute or less). I tried both wifi and ethernet connection, but no difference. Is NetTV unstable lately, or do I have a faulty device? Or something else...?

It was on my list to doublecheck

But I do know I tried to update via Internet on the player itself, and that didn't find any update, so I kinda assume it's on 1.63 (it was a show model).

And another nice example of 'Assumption is the mother of all...'

It was on version 1.41 or something. Not sure why Internet update doesn't work, but after an USB update NetTV and Dredd seem to work properly, weehoo!

Is there any way to disable auto-play / start / run.
It's really annoying (and unbelievable) that I have to wait for the disc to be loaded before I can go to any other option!
