    TV wont turn on

I have an ambilight tv that has been left on standby for 3 days. It now wont turn on. I have unplugged it and left it then replugged in. The blue light comes on and the tv clicks as if it is going to start but nothing happens. the on/off switch on the side doesnt work and there is no response to the remote (other than the blue light flicks).

    Has this tv died?????

    Hi Bramble.

Could you please confirm the model number and software version of your TV?

Have you got anything connected to the TV? If so, please try to disconnnect this before turning TV on.

I have a similar problem with my 37PFL8404H/12. Suddenly one day, the TV would not switch on. If you unplug the power cable for a while, and plugs it back in again, the TV screen lights up like normal for a moment with white Philips text on blue background. However, after a few seconds, the screen goes black, the on/off indicator LED goes black, and the TV does not respond to the remote. I believe the guarantee has just recently expired. What should I do? I
