After White screen during 10 seconds there is a black ( no light ) screen during 8 seconds then a menu with 6 icons. If you don't see them, there is somehow a problem with your picopix. Try pushing OK button to select input. Try without any cable connect to it to see if it works in standalone. Perhaps your battery is too low, let it connected on power cord one hour before use....

I have a similar problem after updating the firmware.
After reaching the "firmware updated, please restart" screen I restarted the device and reached a pink screen. After another reboot all I get is the faint white screen after the Philips logo.
Any ideas? I'm going to assume it's an issue with the newest firmware, I wonder is there a method of forcing a reset to the original firmware or loading a new firmware?

I have exactly the same problem with my Picopix 2450. It also started after the firmware upgrade. I have contacted the Sagemcom support team and they say they are unable to help and I have to send the unit back. The problem is that I bought it in Germany but I'm from South Africa. I'm sure there must be a backup of the original firmware stored on the device as that is the norm for any device that can be updated by the end user. There must be a combination of keys that must be pressed when you switch the device on and then it should go to a boot menu or cause a firmware restore. I wish someone from Philips can give us this procedure as it seems to be becoming a common problem.
