CI+ module related bogus error message that does not go away

    Hi there,

I recently bought a 37PFL6777K/12 and use it to watch satellite TV (DVB-S) with my CanalDigitaal subscription in the Netherlands. All works well, except for the annoying error message that pops up few times per day, especially when changing channels:

'Gecodeerd programma, controlleer de CI+ module en smartcard'

It suggests something is wrong with my CI module and/or smartcard, but it is not - I have perfect picture, see the attachment.
What is most annoying about this is that the message most of the time does not disappear after a few seconds. It stays on there for ever! Only after switching channels a few times it seems to disappear. But not always...

    Anybody a solution for this?

Thanks Toengel for your quick response!

I checked the latest official firmware for the 37PFL6777K/12 before I posted the topic; yesterday it was still at 150.87. (same today) According to your blog 150.88 was released on the 17th of July and it may take a few days to arrive on all servers... I'll check again the next few day...

    Hi,

the firmware should be already on the servers - just download the ZIP - it contains the new firmware.

Indeed, the release notes on the server are misleading - the ZIP contains 150.88 is now on my TV and the problem seems solved. (haven't seen it for two days now) THANKS A LOT!
