Wrong Firmware Philips Fidelio SoundSphere DS9800W

Hi I live in Spain and I have DS9800W/10 speakers today showed the red light failure, seeking a solution to the problem, I came across various forums where they spoke the same case, and one of them made mention of the update firmware speakers. I proceeded to perform this update without realizing I updated the firmware speakers for the U.S. version and my speakers are European.

Apparently the firmware update was done well, I can access the configuration page of the speakers when I press the SETUP button. However, I can NOT do to sync with my wi-fi router. And with this new version of firmware installed, does not leave any option in the settings page that allows for firmware update.

How I can do to fix this problem?
How I can do to install the proper firmware?
These speakers cost a fortune and only have four months of very little use!

Hi ChadBarba and welcome to the forum!
Have you tried to reset both devices, fidelio and router as well? If this doesn't work I would take it to the service centre to have it checked and fixed because the red blinking usually means firmware failure I am afraid.

Hi Faust thanks for your interest in responding!

Yes, actually I did that test and did not help.

But the question is. Is there a way to reinstall the firmware?

Hi ChadBarba, no worries I am afraid there is no way to downgrade the firmware. As well the red blinking usually means firmware failure and the device needs to be serviced. Therefore, I would suggest to bring your device to your local repair service to have it checked and fixed.
