All the presented models seems to be very attractive but, sorry to be pessimistic but I have to set this question:

"with the actual HDMI connection issue (sound drops) how many customer would want such an expensive Blue Ray device?".

Try to visit some good shops for TV and HTS/entertainment devices all over Europe: several employeers are already aware of the sound drops trouble of PHilips TV and HTS and, of course, they don't inform the customer about the issue: they simply suggest other vendors in order to avoid complaints and annoying customer's refunds requests.

This is not a secret: several audio and video forums (that we all known) are spreading these infos and the bad feedback is "snacking".

I don't wat to teach anything but is mandatory to retrieve the customer's faith in order to mantain an acceptable brand recognition.

The latest 140.32 firmware release seems to be is not so "helpful" for the Philips users and we're experiencing the further month passed with no solution at all.

...and the faith is flying away, the negative word-of-mouth advertising is the worst enemy that a firm could experience and, after several months of wasted time, Philips seems to be not interested in it.

    regards
