I have noticed that sometimes the backlight of the LCD panel of my TV is turned on after I wake up in the morning. The rest of the TV behave like it is turned off. The front LED is red.

What happens is that when I'm finished watching TV for the day, I turn it off with the standby button on the remote. The TV goes in standby as expected, including the backlight. Some time during the night the TV gets in a state where it still is in standby, except for the backlight which is turned on. I suspect it happens during the automatic channel update procedure. The only reason I suspect this is because I know this happens sometime during the night. I believe this was introduced with fw 0.140.27.0.

Anyone else who have this problem?

i have seen this once on my tv.the tv is in my bedroom one night i turned off the tv and lights to go sleep after 5 minets
i see light coming out the back the tv

this is a channel update from the internal (sat) receiver, should be happen every morning at 6 am. sould be also be done at the c tuner.
i think u can disable this function in the receiver menue.

Yes, I to suspect the automatic channel update to be involved in this. But why does it turn on the LCD backlight? I have seen it can stay like this until at least 7 - 8 o'clock, probably longer if I don't turn the TV on. The power LED, and everything else for that matter, indicates that it should be in standby.

I installed 0.140.32.0 yesterday. I will see if that helps, if not I will file this as a bug in the "... experiences with FW v0.140.32.0..." thread.
