    HDMI problem

    I have the 46PFL8606 smart-tv.
While watching tv via the UPC tuner, which is connected via HDMI, the display turns black every now and then. It is also happening when i am watching my mediacenter (connected via another HDMI kabel).
I'm waiting for a new firmware update, but this is still not happening.
What can i do kill this anoying problem?
The current firmware is 000.014.104.000, 2012-11-27

    Please HELP

One thing always worth trying with flaky HDMI connections is a different cable. Unfortunately with the high data rate going over the cable and the large number of pins in the connection, there is a wide margin for all types of connection problems.

If the connection is not good enough, you will get occasional glitches in the communication. In the digital world - unlike with analog, where bad connections create distortions in the image - you will have good connection or no connection. This might be what your blackouts are.

In my case, I had to change my cables twice before I got it right - now everything is rock-solid.

It's worth trying. I'll buy another cable. The result will be posted here.
    Thanks for now

    Try to do the following.

    1. Try a different cable.
    2. Try a different port. (handshake)
    3. Make sure your software is updated. (In your case, already is)

    Regards,
