StartUp Problem
Hello,
I just bought a BDP-7700 for my father birthday, but after pluggin it up, nothing works.
The player boots up, I can use the remote for navigation, but then after maybe 30-45 seconds, the player reboots, and then it starts again.
Maybe 5 times in a row, and then it hangs up and I have to unplug it.
I had time to verify the firmware version: 3.17.
Did anyon already had the same problem, and is there a way to fix it by yourself (being on an island, philips support won't be easy).
Thanks for your answers.

Hi, if you can navigate, have you tried to reset the unit? There should be an option in the players menu.
If a reset do not help, then it sound like a conflict due to software. I do not know where your based and how the exchange/repair procedures are, however I would contact retailer and/or Philips support for further assistance. Normally Philips can arrange for shipment via couriers or the normal post.
