    Philips Songbird misbehaving

So i downloaded philips songbird, it worked perfectly with my mp4, then i unistalled it (for PC maintenance reasons), then installed it again, but apparently the wrong version (the one that is only compatible with SA5AZU, SA5Mxx, SA5DOT, SA4RGA & SA4VBE 2013) , so i uninstalled that to, but know i cannot install the correct version, beacuse i get this message:
Philips Songbird is already installed. Would you like to remove the earlier version for the new one?
Then i click yes, and then i get this : Deleting of the former version failed. Please, restart the installer or ask help from an administrator.
Can somebody please help? It is really annoying that i cant watch videos on my mp4 player.
(Note: The error messages are translations made from Hungarian)

    Hey Arrakis!

You might want to try cleaning the registry to remove all traces of the previous version of Songbird. You can try with this sw: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
    Hope this helps,

    Good luck!

    Hi arrakis16

Have you tried uninstalling from your PC/ laptop completely then reinstall from the Philips website? This happened to me once, but I just then installed the latest version and it worked.
In the meantime, just use Windows media player maybe? At least for adding/ editing your music?!

    Good luck
