    Model No: 42PFL6097K/12 LED LCD TV

    My Phillips TV does not work properly from beginnig to I bought it. I bought it 1 moth ago. It closes itself after 10 minutes later when I watch video or surfing on internet. I does not close itself when I watch TV. Technical service did not find any solution and gave report that TV work properly in their workshop. I am really difficult situation. Iam not satisfied customer care and technical support in Philips Turkey. Can you please give me technical support? You can also watch video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bgK6UsbAiM

    Welcome to the TV forum.

    Could you tell me a little more about the specifics of when this happens:

    You say it happens when you are watching video, is this on an external device? If yes, what kind of device and how is it connected to the TV?
    Do you have a USB HDD connected? If yes, does this have it's own power supply? What are the specs for it?
    Does this also happen when no other external devices is connected?

    Could you please confirm the current software version installed?

    Have you tried a different power output/socket? If no, please try an output that doesn't share with other devices.
