Hi,
I think to reproduce your problem, you should state which exact version do you have...

Hi,
maybe an ISBN or such a think - I am not familiar with such identifier on BDs... but I think this would help the Philips support to reproduce...

Afternoon
Which regional code is the bluray. My BDP7300 will only support (regionB and regionFree) so far no issues. I don’t have Harry Potter, I was think you might have had some firmware issue where disc won’t play as this has cropped up before.

Dear nemmanon,
Thanks for reporting your problem and giving us information on the disc.
After several rounds of testing, we confirmed that BDP7500/12 can play the disc Harry potter Half blood prince ( EAN: 5051890009913 and 5051889009252) without problems. Hence, we may need more information from you so we can look into your case in more details. Please check your mail box for more information.
Thanks,Forum Mod

Yet another Bluray disc that is not playing
I haven't received any news from Philips or seen any update for the 7500BL/12 firmware but now I've found another disc that is not playing: Batman the Dark Knight.
I can see the title and VISA screen followed by a spinning disc animation and then NOTHING !!!
I have to force a shutdown and then to eject the disc upon boot.
So to sum up: two discs that I can't play and sometimes the player that gets stuck whilst going out of stand by, I don't udnerstand what went wrong with my player but this is really starting to play with my nerves.
BDP7500 isn't really a low end player, that is not acceptable

Hi,
can you post the barcode of that BDP?
Try to disconnect you network. And try to wait some minutes... (only for testing purposes).

Read from somewhere else that users wait for a bit longer (a few minutes). their discs can be played... Maybe you can try...

Thanks but that didn't work either, how long a user is supposed to wait anyway, that's is meant to be fast. Anyway looks like my player is stuck ,need to force standby by a long key press on the front panel. This is crazy, Am i the only one experiencing issues with half blood prince and Batman the begins disc. Am I also the one eperiencing boot issue (the player remains stucks in the wake up process before displaying Philips on the LCD)
