42PFL6678S keeps rebooting
Hello, forum. I've recently bought a 42PFL6678S 'within the last month, but it's driving me crazy, that it aprox. once a day reboots. I've serched the net, and see there have been similar problems on some of the other models.
I have disabled EasyLink, so I know this isn't causing the problem.
It's not when i switch between my connected devices, or use any features, it just happens randomly when i'm watching TV
(Digital, with CA module).
And since there's no software update yet, I can't really use that option to correct the problem.
Hope there's some solution to this.

Hi PanthDK.
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on a new TV
I can inform you that the latest software can be found here: http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/d...&scy=DK&slg=en . This was released 12.April (1 week ago).
What exactly do you have connected to your TV? And how is this connected (if not with hdmi)
What exact CA module are you using and who's your provider?
Is there any specific time your TV reboots?( morning, afternoon, evening) or after a specific time you've had the TV on?
Best regards,

The current software on the TV is: QF2EU-0.63.14.0 Generation date: 22/02-2013.
When I search for a new software (via. internet) it say's that the current software is the latest.
I have my laptop, Blu-Ray player connected via HDMI.
TV is connected via Optical out to my Home Theatre.
CA module is: Irdeto CI CA module (CAM).
TV provider is Stofa cable TV, Denmark.
TV connected to internet through wireless router.
It really is random when it reboots. Only happenes when watching TV.
It happens on free digital channels aswell as decoded.
Have happened any time of the day, no specific time after turned on.
So, maybee i should try and download the newest update to USB.
Maybee change the CA module to CI+ ? Dunno if it would help tho, since it reboots when watching free digital channels...
Think I'll start by trying to get the latest software, maybee the TV doesn't search propperly after the update.
This is now done, so now it's up-to-date. I'll keep this post open, and return in a few days with my response if it helped.
Thanks so far

Sorry for the waiting, been busy lately.
But the result after I've updated the software was positive. There haven't been a single reboot afterwards!
So thanks alot for directing me to the update, will check frequently for new, since the TV can't be trusted to find it itself, even though it's connected to internet.
Best regards PanthDK.
