    Pauze TV on extern HD

    As I can read if you put a extren HD an the TV you can make a pauze. My question is can i use a mediaplayer , as example my Mede8ter with 3TB HD in it as a extern HD. If yes how can i fix this with the settings (is possible your answer in dutch)

    Hi Vlaan51,

    Welcome to the TV forum!

    I wouldn't advise to use a media player for this purpose. The reason why is that the TV formats the HDD and encrypts the files recorded and these files will only be playable for the TV hereafter. Should you then wish to use the mediaplayer's HDD for it's intended purpose, it would not recognise the HDD due to the new format.
