    Software upgrade problem

Hello, i bought my Blue Ray DVD player BDP5200/79 today which came with software version 1.32. During upgrade to newer version a message displayed 'downloading the software from the server...' but when download bar completes, it displays message:
    Upgrade software failed verification.
    Please insert the correct software...

    Any help!

    Hi,

download the update to your PC and install it via USB stick (see support website of your BDP).

    Hello,

exact name of the BIN file: \UPG_ALL\BDP_5200.bin

I changed it to try: \UPG_ALL\BDP5200.bin
but then it did not even display 'searching for software upgrade..'
straight away displayed 'Upgrade software failed..'

    Hi,

ok - try to load factory defaults before you try via USB stick again (also try this with renamed BDP5200.BIN (try uppercase)).

    Hello,

Restored factory defaults and tried uppercase but didn't work either. I hope apart from not being able to upgrade i should not have any issues operating it. Or may be i take it back to shop and ask for exchange of unit.
