[Wish] Add the subtitles "Character set" also in the global settings

    Hi!

    Wish:
There should be a option in the main configuration menu to set the Character set for the external subs.

Currently tihs option is available only in the option menu during video playback and I have to set the character set for each video I play. It would be better to add this option also in the main configuration like the Audio, Disc Menu and Subtitles language in preferences.

My player is BDP5100, but maybe this applies to all other models.

    Hope I've explained it well.

    Hi,

good idea - but I'd like also have this dialog in the option menu (as it is already implemented) while playing a movie with subtitle.

    Great idea!

Can someone in Philips check if this is for all models or for BDP5100 only?
If that is to apply for a model, why not the others. maybe the code can be generalized?
