36PW9525/05R screen slit horizontally - only half a picture

Tv has been making a buzzing sound for a while - then screen suddenly split in half horizontally. Top half is blank and bottom half has a picture. Is it worth getting it fixed?

    Hi Lulanewdog.

After the description you've given us there seems to be a fault with the TV. Due to the age of the TV I would advise you to contact a local servicer so that they can determine whether a repair is economical as well as the exact nature of the fault.

    Best regards,
