Hts9520 not reading bd godzilla - unknown disk

    Hi,

I recently bought BD Godzilla from BOL.COM.

When I tried to view it, the system wasn't able to start the disk and said "UNKNOWN DISK" after a while.

The disk is not visibly damaged, so I thought it would be possibly a firmware problem of the system, to be compatible with the latest BD's.

I've checked the firmware version. It is V56.

On the Philips site I learned this is the latest firmware version.

Are there other ways to solve this problem or is a newer firmware version available?

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

    Thanks!

    Pascal

    Hello Pascal1970!

    Welcome to the Philips forum!

I really feel for you not being able to watch Godzilla!

This looks like a firmware issue that I havenít been informed if we will have any updates for. But could you please send me a private message with your serial number and e-mail address so I can communicate the issue with the tech department?

    Thank you for your help!

    Regards,
Philips Ė Katerina (a big Godzilla fan)
