    fidelio DS8550 not charging iphone 5 with 30pin to 8 pin adapter

    hello, i noticed that the Fidelio DS8550 docking speaker doesn't work with iPhone 5 when using the original 30 to 8 pin lightning adapter
    this is a problem because in the compatability list is says it is compatible, probably not tested
    tried 2 different (original) 30 pin to lightning adapters already , nothing happening

    please philips, confirm this is not compatible , that case i will buy new docking station (not Philips..)

    Yes, iPhone 5 with 30pim lightning adapter is compatible with DS/8550. What kind of iOS do you have on your phone at this moment?

    I am using ios 6.1.3 latest version and i know in the pdf sheet from Philips it says that the ds8550 docking station is compatible when using the 30 to 5 lightning pin from apple
    We tried this with the original 30 to 5 pin but it doesn't work , no charging and no music , simply nothing work when useing iphone 5 with conversion pin to the ds8550 docking station
    i tried different pin , same nothing happening
    Please try yourself at Philips service , i would be grateful if you confirm this ds8550 not compatible with iphone 5 the can buy new docking station
