    Question DTS over USB Streaming

    Hello.

    I have a Philips PFL8008k/12.

    I connecting my usb disk drive to the TV with the objective of streaming a MKV movie.

    Since the movie have DTS sound, which is not supported, I've connect the tv optical audio out to my amplifier.

    The thing is, I can't get the any sound output. Even in the setting when I try to switch the speakers from TV to Amplifier it doesn't work.

    I'm I missing something.

    No, you aren't missing something. DTS audio doesn't get a passthrough. At least not on a 42PFL6687 television. Perhaps that's also the case with your television.

    @ Philips : PFL8008 are supposed to decode DTS isn't it ?

    We do currently not support DTS on any of our models.
