USB stick, cant fast forward or rewind. Status gauge is maxed out

    Hi guys,

I've got a problem with my tv and usb sticks.

When i watch a movie from my usb i sometimes cant fast forward or rewind.

Normally, when i can FF or Rewind i see a status gauge with an gray indication how far i can FF to.

The problem now is, when i want to rewind or FF, the gray indication in the status gauge is at it max while the movie isnt!

    Example:

When i watch a movie of 90 minutes, and if a want to FF it, then i only can do it sometimes to like 30 minutes. My status gauge is then maxed out for some reason.

Do anyone know an solution to this?

I have a philips 42 pfl 7606 H smart Tv with already the latest software upgrade.

    Hi Wish,

    Welcome to the TV forum.

Could you please confirm the current software version installed on your TV?

Could you also give some more information about the file you are experiencing issues with? File size, file format, bit rate etc.

    Best regards,
    Ina

I have the same problem. But in my case it tends to happen when I hit the fast forward button too rapidly to get x32 speed. Hitting it more slowly can help. However, it's very difficult to reproduce.
