    3D on 47PFL6907

    Hi,

Recently got this tv, and the 3D is not so good as in the 2010 Samsung TVs my parents own. Samsung is active, I know...
But wonder, maybe there is something I can do? Maybe there are better passive glasses than those which were included with tv?
Bad things Im talking about is ghosting when watching a little from the side. I mean, if I want to get watchable 3d picture I have to sit 100% in the center of tv, how is that "easy 3d"? If I'm a bit on the side, or watching lying on a sofa when tv is a little above, the picture gets blury.
Another thing is depth out of the tv. I mean I get some good depth into the tv, but I have problem with getting that 3d effect when things get out of tv. The objects whitch are "flying out of tv" gets sooo blury and my eyes even hurts trying to get them in the focus. On samsung you actually see objects in front of you...

Watching from Philips blu ray with good 1.4 hdmi cable.

So the question is: could other glasses help me a bit or its a waste of time ant money?

Othervise tv is good, and design just KILLS samsung.

    Thank You,

    Hi again ISG.

What movies have you tried and experienced this with?

As you mentioned the Samsung has active 3D, your 6907 got Passive.
I found this answer in the FAQ, maybe this explains a bit:
    http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/c...ext=3D&slg=AEN
"Due to the Active 3D technology, our new 3D Ready TVs continue to deliver the same stunning performance with 2D images. In contrast, TVs that employ ´passive´ 3D technology have the polarizer integrated on the TV screen, which reduces the light output for 2D signals, as if you were watching TV while wearing sunglasses."

The compatiable 3D glasses for you set is: PTA417, PTA416, PTA426, PTA436(game kit)

    Best regards,
