BDP3100 usb-format
Hi
Can BDP3100 read from any other format than FAT32? This puts a limitation to the filesize and also what movies one can play. I have tried formatting a usb from FAT32, which read just fine, to exFAT that didn't read. Can this be fixed on a firmware upgrade in the future?

Hi Toengel,
Forgot to mention that it says in the manual that it doesn't support NTFS. But I can give it a try if you think it might support it anyways.

i hope that NTFS is supported? but i'm afraid!
All good Hd players (like philips BDP series) with usb input should be able to read and support mass storage drive with NTFS partition...
On my BDP5100 with 1.31 Firmware:
-16GB USB key NTFS formated = Well Working
-External HDD 2TB buffalo HD-HXU3 NTFS formated = Not Working
May be Philips developers can tell us why External HDD 2To buffalo HD-HXU3 NTFS formated is not supported??

Hi,
on my BDP9600 I connect a NTFS 500GB and a 1TB without problems.
OK - I have a problem, that the player freeze, when I play movies (no reactions with remote control anymore, but movie is playing).
