DCM580/12 - no sound from radio

Hi - I have a DCM580 and after the radio has been switched on for a while the sound drops completely and you have to plug it out and plug it back in again to get sound again. Anyone any ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Faust,

    Thanks for the reply.

I haven't been able to find instructions on how to do a factory reset. Could you point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Anne

Hi Anne, my bad, I should pay more attention really - the factory reset with this device is basically to unplug it for a little while and connect it back again. But that's what you did anyway.

So, it works after the reset but it can be very annoying I can imagine. I would suggest to take it to your local service to have it checked in this case

Hi Faust. Thanks for the reply anyway. after being plugged out for a couple of weeks now we plugged it back in and it seems to be working fine for some reason!!
I'll keep an eye on it and bring it to a service centre if problem persists!
