My configuration: BDP3380/12, v2.54
I tried to install v2.66 but got via Internet: no new firmware found and over USB: no valid firmware found.

Hi,
I already posted in the german forum but perhaps I get more response here.
After I upgraded my BDP3380/12 to the 2.66 I can no longer access my Notebook desktop via Intel WiDi (DLNA). Before, in V2.59 this worked perfectly for me and I already ranted why my 46PFL8007K TV would not support it directly, as it also finds the Intel WiDi DLNA Server. It never worked with the TV, but going the alternative route through the BDP it worked. Can someone explain why this feature is not supported on all devices, why it is not communicated and why it was broken in this firmware version?
Regards,
Andreas

Dear forstingera
As Widi technology is not within the specifications of your Blu-ray player, we can not guarantee that this will work. Have you tried connecting your PC to your TV?
Kind regards,

Hi,
the only thing I can tell for sure is that it worked - even if that feature seems to have been implemented by accident. With the new firmware it does not any longer.
Of course I tried connecting with the TV directly as I stated above. With the TV it did never work out, with the BluRay it did, which was ridiculous. Now it does not work on either device any longer, which is kind of annoying.
I really enjoyed that feature and I am sure lots of others would too, if it ever worked (again) AND if the feature was made more aware of.
Regards,
Andreas
