    problem with movie subtitles from hard disk

    i have a smart tv 32inches from 5500 series and when i connect it with an external hard disk to watch movies sometimes subs dont apear at all and sometimes they seem like chinese!(i put them in greek).i have the subs in the same file as the movie and i ve tried changing every form of subs when opening then with notepad in my pc(ANSI,UNICODE,UNICODE BIG ENDIAN, UTF-8) but nothing.what should i do?.(the subs play fine in our other brand tv)

    If I'm not mistaken, the 5500 series don't support Greek. Also, the subtitles need to be an a seperate file.
