    Connecting DVD Player

    I have a 6900 series TV. I have successfully connected a hard disk recorder via SCART, but cant seem to do the same for my 10 year old DVD player which also connects by SCART. The TV does not seem to recognise and gives message - "no video signal detected". Any ideas?

    Hi Parastat.

    Could you please confirm what software version that is installed on the tv?
    Have you tried the following:
    - Connected the DVD player to the same input as the recorder? If not, try this.
    - Tried DVD player in another TV?
    - Tried a different cable?

    Thanks Benedickte _ I am not sure what software I am using but the TV updated several times after I connected it to the internet so presume it is fully up to date. I have tried another SCART lead and also to connect through the recorder input. I guess I do need to try with another TV although it was working with my previous TV

    Hi Parastat,

    Did you try the DVD player on a different TV? How did that go?

    If you are still experiencing issues, please say what you have tried from Benedickte's suggestions.

    Do you have the full model number of your TV?

    You can find the current software version here:
    Home > Setup > Software Setting > Current Software Info

    Not all software updates are released OTA, so it's a good idea to check for the newest version on your support website.
