    Question Wifi connection lost

We have a new PFL476158. At first the TV would not remember the connection or the WPA2 passphrase for the wifi network. We could connect the TV to network and it would be connected until the TV was turned off, but the next time we turned it on we had to go through the connection process and enter the passphrase again.

We then reserved an IP address for the TV and since then it seems to remember the connection.

Is this a known issue? Could it mean that something is not as it should with our unit? We still have the option of returning it to the store.

    Hi Mark and Urstrinath,

Welcome both of you to the TV forum.

I would like to request addditional information about your TVs please:

    1) Please provide the full model number, serial number and ethernet MAC address for the TV:

    - You can find this by selecting the TV source, then entering 1 2 3 6 5 4 on your remote. This will take you to the CSM menu.
    - On page 1 you have Set Type, which is the model number and Production code, which is the serial number.
    - Press the down button twice to get to page 3, where you will find the Ethernet MAC address.

    2) How are you switching off the TV? Remote control, power button on TV or unplugging the mains?

    3) Mark > Could you please elaborate on what you mean by reserving an IP address for the TV? What kind of network setup do you have? Are you for example using a switch?

    4) What is the make and model of your router?

    5) What is your country of residence?

    Best regards,
    Ina
