HDMI no sound with a SMART TV 7000

    Hi
I have a dvd player that I tried to connect to my Philips smart tv 42PFL7007. The image is fine but no sound. I tried all the differents configuration in my dvd player and in the TV without success. I also tried different HDMI cables. The player works fine with audio in different TVs through HDMI but only in my philips TV I have no sound. I tested all the HDMI ports in the TV. Another devices as a video camera, Play3, etc works fine with audio in the same HDMI port.
I would appreciate your help in order to understand if Philips has special settings or something different in HDMI connections to the rest of the TVs.

    Hi Jiuvaro,

    Welcome to the TV forum.

Could you please confirm the current software version installed on your TV?

Also, please make sure the TV is turned on before the DVD player to ensure the digital handshake via HDMI.

Check the EasyLink settings and try turning EasyLink Autostart on and off.

Try removing the device from menu and add device again.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi Jiuvaro,

Since there are no issues with other HDMI devices, this could simply be down to a compatibility issue between the DVD player and the TV.

    Best regards,
    Ina

Yes, I have the possibility to set audio "analogic" or "SPDIF/RAW" or "SDPIF/PCM".
I suppose I tried all but your suggestions will be very appreciated. Tks.
