    MCI500h WPA2 character support (backslash)?

Hi there, has an MCI500h on our network which works a treat.

However we just added WPA2 security to the network and used a web site to generate a 20 digit key.

All other PC's and bits and phones and things working fine but when I tried set up the MCI, I found there is no blackslash ( \) or none that I could find.

Does the MCI support support this character and if so anyone know were I would find it on the remote?

I can of course regenerate the key and reapply it to all the other devices but ideally to find that character would save a lot of work.

Any advice or solution would be very welcome.

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi !

Have you tried connecting your MCi500H directly to your PC with a LAN cable and then started WADM or WACHandler ?
If one of these application detects your MCi500H,m you can configure the WiFi settings from there, and of course enter a backslash character too

    Cheers !

Tias, this is a brilliant idea....many thanks for this....it did not cross my mind at all to use the PC based software and connection. Will be top of my 'to-do' list this morning but I'm very certain that will work perfectly.

Many thanks for the solution and taking the time
