    Question DTS over USB Streaming

    Hello.

    I have a Philips PFL8008k/12.

I connecting my usb disk drive to the TV with the objective of streaming a MKV movie.

Since the movie have DTS sound, which is not supported, I've connect the tv optical audio out to my amplifier.

The thing is, I can't get the any sound output. Even in the setting when I try to switch the speakers from TV to Amplifier it doesn't work.

    I'm I missing something.

    Best regards.

No, you aren't missing something. DTS audio doesn't get a passthrough. At least not on a 42PFL6687 television. Perhaps that's also the case with your television.

    Hi.

We do currently not support DTS on any of our models.

    Hi Benedickte,

Thank you for your quick reply.

Curiously several websites announce DTS support !
    http://televiseur-led.blogspot.fr/20...voir-2013.html
    http://www.hdfever.fr/2013/02/22/philips-pfl8008/
etc (same thing on Italian websites)
