HTL 2150 soundbar goes to standby even with sound being played.

Hi I recently bought the HTL 2150 soundbar and when its on low volume ie listening to back ground music or any Tv program it will go to standby intermittent.

I notice there is a software upgrade for similar models with this fault.

But this unit has no usb to update.

Any thoughts what can be done ?

    Thanks Paul.

Hi, I doubt there will be any update for your unit. As you mention, there is no USB so updating will be difficult. Have you tried soundbar with other TV? Have you recently updated the software of your TV? How is your soundbar connected? I discovered that sometimes, in some TVs, a “easylink” option might be set to “on”, thereof some issues with external units, if connected via HDMI.

    Hi Thanks for the update.

The Tv was connected to another surround sound system for a few years with no problems.

The TV has the latest software from there website.

The Tv has been tested connected with the optical/aux connections and it does it.

I use the normal TV speakers now for quiet sound and the soundbar when more output is required

Little disappointed there is a known fault but this model can not be updated.
