HDMI sound connection between HTS9520 and 42PFL7008

got a new 42pfl7008 connected to a HTS9520 with HDMI.
when starting up the tv, the connection with the HTS is instable for sound. It sometimes switches on, or I need to do this manually on the HTS( switch to HDMI ARC or even reset the HTS.
When the connection is working it works ok.

I have installed the set, cold restart, pulled the HDMI and installed again. Upgraded the TV to the latest sw. Connection stays instable at startup. Any thoughts?
    Thanks, paul

Hi, have you updated the HTS as well? If not, you should do so. Have you check that the Easylink is set to ON?

Can you also share more, in detail what you mean with “instable for sound”? For how long do you experiencing issues?

    hi Teddy,
The HTS is using the V56 sw from june 2012, all easylinks are on, have the HTS scanned for the TV and found it.
At first the HTS could not find the HDMI ARC, in the third try it had found it.
Instable for sound means: it connects with the TV but does not swith the HTS sound on, or cannot find the HDMI ARC anymore. Then I need to restart one or twice and then it goes well.
When the connection is working betweeen HTS and TV it is stable.
    thanks, paul
