Question WAS 7500 WAS 6050 Internet password

    Hello,

I bought last week 2 additional second hand stations but I cannot connect them to the internet for radios. I always get the same message :" incorrect password " Nevertheless I'm sure that it is right. It seems that many people have already had this problem. Has anybody already found a solution ?

Hi Ticou you are correct regarding a number of users having password problems most of this has now been resolved but I think your issue is another matter. I think that you will first have to factory re set the units one at a time and then when you attempt to connect to radio services you will be prompted to input your email address, which you do but at that point do not enter your password. You log into your philips account and then register the device and then send the information after which you receive a further email from Philips to activate your account. When you have clicked on the link you can then go to the unit and enter your password.

Let me know how you get on.

    Hello,

Please pm me you wired MAC address and registration email.

There is a method available to find the units WIRED MAC ID (requires a PC).

    1) Ensure your PC / SMARTPHONE / TABLET is in the same network as your Philips Streamium device.

    2) Go to the Philips device and check the used <IP-ADDRESS> of the unit via Settings / Information / Wireless / …

    3) On your PC / SMARTPHONE / TABET open a browser and type in http://<IP-ADDRESS>:6481/lan_mac (the IP-ADDRESS is the same as for Step 2).

    4) Browser will show the MAC ID of the WIRED interface.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team
