Lightbulb Sluggish User Interface in 55PFL7008k and a whole set of suggestions

    Hi,

Just got a 55pfl7008k model and would like to suggest some improvement to UI (summing up all my requests scattered across several threads in the forum):

In general people would prefer a responsive interface rather than a pretty, effects-full one. Please do use processor cycles for what's important and optimize the code.
Sections like SmartTV and IP-EPG are hardly usable in latest firmware release (064.018). I'm constantly checking on the TV's red led to be sure my command was received.

Ambilight controls are messed up (already reported here).
Allow complete scheduling with DVB-EPG and
provide a clever USB recording experience (both already reported here).
Provide a more comprehensive DVB installation procedure (already reported here).

There are a lot of image processing technology but odd enough there's very little useful information about how they work to allow customers a wise evaluation on whether we want it or not depending on input source.

Most of image presets are far from calibration, therefore it would be useful to allow customers to rename them, so after tweaking all parameters we quickly can switch from one to another based on familiar naming.

TV provides two isf presets and even a isf preset for ambilight, wow! but incredibly you do not provide any information about them!

I'm sure this can / should be fixed in future firmware releases. It would be a non-sense to provide such a high quality panel with such an unpolished software to complete ruin the product.

    Regards.

I wonder what CPU are installed in these TVs ? When a chinese Android multimedia sticks are to be found with 1.6 GHz dual core (now even with quad-core) at 100 Euros is that too hard to implement something like that into a 2000 Euro TV unit ? My guess is that the software developers are not informed about these problems or not stimulated to solve them.
