Moving Objects have a Ghosting/Smearing Effect

Whenever I watch a Cartoon mostly happens is a character will move and there will be a ghost or a smearing follow the character as it moves. It also happens with reality movies recently I was watching thats my boy and when Donny was moving I could see his ghost effect or smudge, I am wondering why it is doing this and how can I fix it? Thanks, My Tv is 40pfl4706 btw.

    Hi Kennyreid18,

Could you please confirm you TVs full model number and the current software version installed on your TV?

Are you using the internal or an external tuner (such as a set top box)?

    Best regards,
    Ina

Switch off Noise Reduction and MPEG Artefact Reduction and the smearing/trailing will disappear!

Philips need to fix this bug!
