    DCB 352 ipod dock problem

I have a dcb 352 and when I dock my iphone 4s i get the message `this accessory not supported by iphone'. Whilst the phone will charge it will not play music through the speakers. Any ideas as to a solution ?

hi dan95, welcome to the forum this is very strange because dcb352 does definitely support 4S. is this a recent behaviour, did it work previously just fine? also, what software version do you have on your iPhone 4s?

Hi thanks for getting back to me. I think the phone is running 6.1.3 its less than 6 months old. I have been told by Philips that if the software is higher than 6 it will not work. You are correct however it is marketed as being compatible with the iphone 4s.

There is not much I can do with the phone and as the player is supposed to be compatible it should just be a case of docking it. I was recommended to downgrade the firmware on the phone but I dont see why I should have to do this.
