    Picture settings

    I have a 42PFL6877T/12.

I have made some changes to the picture style presets. For example in the "Movie" setting I have disabled the pixel precise thing and so on.

However - Everytime I turn on the TV it seems to revert to some default setting.

What's strange is that when I go to picture style menu it nevertheless shows my style to be "Movie" but I have to select another style "sand then "Movie" again to get the "Movie" setting with the preset changes that I had made.

This can't be normal - can it?

It's very irritating to have to do this everytime I turn on the TV.

Hope someone can help me with this.

Hi Toengel thanks for the help really appreciate it.

I had checked for updates from the TV itself - always said everything was up to date.

Finally got around to downloading on my computer and installing.

    Now the software version says:

    0.150.87.0

    But...

I still have to reselect the Picture style to get my settings to show...

    I don't get it.

Also, sometimes I get this - icons in the settings panel seem to hang in the air...

    Hi,

I suggest to reinstall your TV (make a copy of the channel list to USB first).

    Hi Olafur1977,

Have you tried to reinstall your TV as suggested by Toengel? What is the result?

Regarding the menu items image you posted: This happens when scrolling has begun before the menu items have loaded fully. Please wait a moment to let the menu load before scrolling through.

    Best regards,
    Ina

Also on my 55pfl8007 if I disable Natural Motion it stays OFF but it is not remembered after a restart, it is always ON. In any of the picture presets, even Personal.

Ah... this did not go well. I copied the channel list to USB - got a dialog that said copy was successfull. Reinstalled TV - tried to copy to TV from the USB - got an error message. Tried to search for channels - did not get the digital channels I'm subscribing to to show up and now the TV won't acknowledge my cam card - it simply does not show up where it's supposed to - in the channel settings - Now I'm the most unpopular man in the household and will be taking the darn thing to the shop tomorrow to get them to fix this mess. :-(
