Philips 42PFL7655H video settings help!
Hi guys! I just bought a Philips 42PFL7655H and though the tv quality is outstanding, when i try a blu-ray movie, it looks too much vivid and defined that it seems taken from a HD Live cam and not from a motion picture. The Cinema mode preset is useful but the images result dark and the colors old. Could anyone suggest a complete list of the changes in the tv setup in order to obtain the best (and most natural) appeal of the movie source. Thank you!

Hi,
first you should disable all video enhancements in your BD player... (always use the last device in the queue for picture enhancements).

My player is the Philips BDP7500 3D ready and is connected via the EasyLink option which, if activated, should deactivate every single enhancement in the player setup. I think the problem (when the Cinema mode is on) is the value of the Gamma enhancement or the levels in the Colors palette. Is it better to go up until 4 in the gamma setup or change the values of color green red and blue for example?
