German T-Online Mediencenter is a joke
T-Online proudly pronounced that now it is possible to use their Online-Mediencenter to watch videos, photos, etc. on Philips television.
https://mediencenter.t-online.de/
What I can really do is
- using about 25 GB online harddisc and share portions of this with others
- connect my television to any of these shares
- watching photos
Until now I am not able to watch any videos.
Even their demos in folder
Videos -> Beispielvideos
cause an error on my Philips "Video nicht abspielbar"
Videos that can easyly be played via TVersity from my notebook are not playable from T-Online-Mediencenter.
When connecting my notebook to T-Online-Mediencenter website everything works fine, but the resolution is reduced.
Ergo -> T-Online transcodes the videos in a way that makes them incompatible to Philips television.
My television: 32PFL7605H/12
main firmware: 140.32Last edited by GuinnessTrinker; 03-30-2011 at 08:49 AM.
