    Wifi Media Connect Network Error

Hello to all. I recently bought a 4000 series 40" LED TV (obviously philips) and that model does include a wifi adapter. I connected to my router and I can use netflix and other streaming apps just fine.

However, when I try to connect the wifi media connect over the router it starts playing my laptop screen for 2 or 3 seconds and then it sends an error NE[00203693] and crashes. I have disabled my firewall, I can ping the tv just fine it just looks like something is missing.

By the way, in the website, there is no version of the wifi media connect for my TV, it's similar but just not the same.

How can I connect my laptop to the TV?

I run windows 7, 6 GB of ram with no firewall.
I can ping the TV and there is communication... for a moment.

    I would appreciate your help

    Hi Jesús,

Could you confirm the model number of your TV, plus the current software version installed, please?

Also, what is your country of residence?

You say "then it sends an error NE[00203693] and crashes.". Where does this error code appear from and what is crashing?

    Best regards,
    Ina

Hi, thanks for answering. The TV is a 40PFL4908 40" and by crashing I mean that the wifi media connect software just stops working and windows closes it. I'm using wifi media connect version 1.6.43, and the error number appears on the tv screen. I live in Mexico and I bought the TV at Costco.

    Thanks for answering.
    Regards

    Hi Jesús,

Thank you for providing this information.

Wifi Media Connect is not supported for 2013 TVs, which is most likely why you are experiencing this issue.

Alternatives such as using a media server or connecting your PC with an HDMI cable might be a solution for your needs in this case.

    Best regards,
    Ina
