    Unhappy 46PFL7007H/12 is just "dead"

My 46PFL7007H/12 does not work. I checked cables and everything is ok. I tried whit the remote control and with the on-off button on the back. The TV is just "dead". No standby light - nothing happens!
It's really disappointing since it is only 3 months old. I have the warranty but this should not happen with such a top TV.

    HI Igsama,

Welcome to the TV forum and thank you for your post.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with your TV.

Please try to disconnect the power from your TV overnight. Do this help the issue? Have you tried using a different power socket?

If you are still experiencing issues, please contact your local customer service:
    http://www.support.philips.com/suppo..._selector.jsp?
Select your country and then Contact.

    Best regards,
    Ina

I had a very similar problem with my 46pfl7007. Unresponsive, and the standby light flashed intermittently. Sorry to say the advice given here of 'unplug your set overnight
' did nothing for my set. It was still unresponsive a week later when engineers came to look at the set. Took it away and claimed they could find nothing wrong as it started up first time once it was in the workshop. They claim all they did was upgrade the software, but I'm not sure I believe them. There must have been something wrong with the set and looking around these forums and the number of people with similar power up issues with theie ***7 sets, I think Philips know there is an issue, but dont want to tell their customers about it.
