    Hi Nellairaghu,

    Welcome to the TV forum.

Could you please confirm your country of residence and also the Home Theater System's full model number?

Then I will be able to direct your question better.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi Nellairaghu,

You can connect your SP120 via the cable adapter to the AV2 IN/AV OUT port to get sound from your TV to the SP120.

You can find more information on your TV in the user manual on page 6 here:
    http://bit.ly/15fuwp4

If you require any more help connecting your device, I would suggest contacting your local customer service. If you need help finding the contact information, please provide me with your country location.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi,

    I have a simular problem.

I read in the manual that the L/R to CINCH connector (not included) should be used, in case the amplifier does not have an optical in. So I bought the cable, but I do not receive a signal in the receiver. In the TV, the error message is "external speakers on" fail; switch to internal speakers.

Does anyone know what to do? It looks like a sw/hw error to me?

    Thanks,
    Martin

Could you give more information about your setup please?

What is the TV model number and software version?

    Hi Ina,

I have a 55PFL8007, and upgraded last week to the latest software version.

The amp is a Denon AVR1400.

I did another test that is worth mentioning, I tried the head phone port and that works. However, I have the feeling it is not of the same quality as the "official" port, so I still look forward to the real solution.

    Thanks in advance,
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

Your TV does not offer an Audio OUT via CINCH. It does have an Optical Out (S/P-DIF) and analogue via the Headphone Out.

In the user manual on page 9-10 you will find info about the connection types on your TV:
    http://bit.ly/1akLRUK

I assume the part of the manual you are refering to is the :"Use a Audio L/R cinch to mini-jack (3.5mm) adapter cable (not supplied) if your device also has sound."?

This would be for Audio In only, usually used with component video.

    Best regards,
    Ina
