    HDMI Disconnect Issues 32PFL3605H

    Hello everyone,

In 2012, when I still had warranty on my Philips TV I contacted Philips with a problem that I have with my TV.
I have been turned down with a standard answer.

Now it really starts to annoy me and my TV is just out of warranty, I hope anyone here can help me.

Whenever I have my TV connected to a laptop/PC (either Nvidia, AMD or Intel graphics) with HDMI, my TV switches completely off after ~30-60 min. Sometimes after turning it back on the TV hangs completely, then I need to disconnect the power cord and connect it back. I have this problem since I have this TV and I already tried newer firmware I got v 2.09 in it now.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Thanks in advance.
    Christopher

    Hi Christopher,

Welcome to the TV forum and thank you for your post.

You mention several graphics cards, are you referring to different PCs you have tested the TV with? If yes, do you get the exact same result on other PCs?

Have you turned on PC Mode?
Home > Setup > TV settings > Picture > PC Mode

Try to change the resolution on your PC to one of the following:

    640 x 480
    800 x 600
    1024 x 768
    1280 x 720
    1280 x 768
    1280 x 1024
    1360 x 768

Make sure the Refresh rate is at 60Hz.

Please tell me anything you might have already tried and what the results are.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Dear Ina,

Thank you for the answer. It's tested with 3 PC's, one with an AMD 7950, one with Intel Graphics 4000 other with Nvidia GTX780.
    Also 3 laptop's with the Intel Graphics 3000, Nvidia GT555M and GT650M.
All the same issue, also tried different resolutions and also the ones you mentioned (the Philips support gave me the same resolutions to try.). Don't understand why because it's a full HD TV. (1920x1080)

Refresh Rate is ofcourse 60hz as it's the maximum possible.

With all the PC's/Laptops and resolutions the TV just goes completely off after a while.

    Hi Christopher,

Thank you very much for all the information. That has been very helpful.

I would like to look into your previous customer service case as well, to help you find a possible resolution.

Could you send me a PM with any contact details or reference numbers you may have from customer service, including your country of residence?

    Best regards,
    Ina
